Gallery highlights the vision of Jacobsen Arquitetura across different scales in the series Architects Brazil

Gallery documented three emblematic works by the firm Jacobsen Arquitetura for the series Architects Brazil, which explores the diversity and excellence of Brazilian architecture through original footage and exclusive interviews.

The first highlight is the AEA Residence, located in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. Situated between the Atlantic Forest and the sea, the house was conceived as an extension of the landscape. With a mixed structure of laminated wood, concrete, and metal, the residence combines contemporary lines, natural materials, and solutions that respect the original terrain — such as the preservation of a large rock incorporated inside the house. The episode also features the Schaefer 660 yacht (2022 model) from Schaefer Yachts, sailing through the waters of Angra, reinforcing the sensory experience and the seaside lifestyle.

The second featured work is the REN Apartment in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, recorded with a focus on its interiors. Covering 800 m², the apartment was designed as an urban retreat for a family, with integrated spaces, large openings framing the mountainous landscape, and elegant solutions such as wooden brises, lacquered panels, and a sculptural central staircase. The project reveals the firm’s attention to spatial flow and the dialogue between architecture, furniture, and art.

In addition, the EA Residence, located in Porto Feliz in the São Paulo countryside, was also documented by Gallery. Set on a large plot, this country house was designed to integrate with the natural surroundings through angled volumes and wide openings that promote visual and physical permeability. Inside, natural materials such as Tauari wood and Branco Siena granite create comfortable and welcoming environments. The construction was carried out by MFC Construtora, recognized for its excellence in executing high-end projects.
